The City of Long Beach presented its proposed $3 billion 2022 budget [July 16] to the media; however, the press was not given access to the document before the event.
I strongly oppose SB 9 and would like to tell you why. It would allow and encourage denser zoning, resulting in the degradation of desirable, stable neighborhoods.
Your neighborhood has a target on its back and your state Legislature is taking direct aim at fundamentally changing it right now. Yet too few Californian residents are even aware of what is about to happen to them.
