I am fascinated by 2nd Street next to Alamitos Bay. So much activity going on with people who scream of unique personality and charisma. This area has a feel for what the American dream really is.

The last of Cal Worthington’s car dealerships on Bellflower Boulevard at Spring Street has been sold and “BP Ford” is the new name, after Feb. 28. The Nouri/Shaver Automobile Group is the new owner, which plans to keep all Worthington Ford employees after they reapply for their jobs.
Who says that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? This past weekend I learned a few while fellow family members “shared the love” with my brother in Anacortes, Wash. Tom Beeler has been getting cancer treatments that have caused loss of hair, fatigue and some pain.
Of all the marvelous things Long Beach has to showcase not much can compare to a day at the Aquarium of the Pacific. Drifting around this architectural wonder of human ingenuity is a testimonial of people’s fascination for nurturing other species both below and above the water.
