THE BALLOTS ARE IN and here are the results of our 17th annual contest. This year the contest is again in two parts with this part devoted to medical and other professional services. Ballots for part two (dining, entertainment and retail) will appear in our July issues.
Agnes Knight, Jack Finley and Kathleen Pozgay correctly identified the location of our March 30 treasure – the roundabout in Douglas Park, near Lakewood and Carson – and were awarded prizes.
The 1967 film, “The Graduate,” adapted from Charles Webb’s novel of the same title by Calder Willingham and Buck Henry, was transformed into a stage play by Terry Johnson. It made its Broadway debut in April of 2002.
Mark Guillen, Christina Nava and Jessica Gunther correctly identified the location of our Feb. 16 treasure – OHO Sushi Studio at 4917 E. Pacific Coast Highway.
