Local cities should consider offering a mobile app that enables citizens to report issues of all sorts, along with photos and locations of problems. Find It, Fix It was developed for Seattle, and is popular and useful.

I live on the 300 block of Gladys ave and the street is caving in right front of my apartment building and in alley, the city cares more about rainbow crosswalk’s
