Show Some Love

2ND & PCH, in partnership with Leadership Long Beach and POW! WOW! Long Beach, has unveiled a conversation heart wall titled “Show Some Love Long Beach” for the community to enjoy. Designed by local artist Andrea James, the acrylic mural features hearts with personalized messages of love and will remain on view through March 10. In the lead up to Valentine’s Day, members of the Long Beach community were invited to give the gift of art and purchase a heart to inscribe with a personalized message.

All proceeds went to benefit two local non-profit organizations: Leadership Long Beach, whose principled leadership programs for youth and adults serve the local community and Precious Lamb Preschool, which provides tuition-free, high quality, early education for children and their families experiencing homelessness.

“Show Some Love Long Beach” will be on display through March 10 on the ground level of the center near Boba Guys and Barry’s Bootcamp.

Long Beach native Andrea James has been creating since childhood and is the owner of Create A Canvas, Hawaii’s top-ranked mobile art party, and Dips and Dabs Art Instruction in California. She has been invited as an artist to create across the world and has been a featured mural artist with local WORLDWIDE WALLS Long Beach! (previously POW! WOW! Long Beach).
