LBPD PIO says a woman was seated in her vehicle when a black vehicle entered the area from which a man exited, raised a firearm and began approahing the woman. She swiftly drove off and the armed suspect and others in the black vehicle fled the scene. Jerry Shultz’s independent South of Conant Neighborhood Watch adds these details. He says the victim got into her car parked on the street, put it in revese (preparing to leave) when the black vehicle pulled alongside and a suspect jumped out of the right rear passenger door, pulled a hoodie over his head and aimed the gun at her. There were at least three persons in the suspect vehicle: the driver, a passenger in front and an individual in the back who allegedly confronted the woman with a gun.
