Executives Association Announces New Board and Don Temple Award Recipient

Jay Beeler was installed as president of the Executives Association of Long Beach (EALB) and Vince Bunting was named winner of the Don Temple Award for distinguished service at the association’s annual installation of officers at its March 2 luncheon at The Grand.

A member of EALB since 1984, Beeler owns Beeler & Associates, a public relations and advertising agency founded in 1978; he also publishes the Beachcomber newspaper, a bi-weekly tabloid newspaper started in July 2000. Bunting owns C.H. Topping & Co., which specializes in automotive brake services; he has been a member of EALB since 2003.

Eric Speier of 5 Elements Entertainment was installed as vice president and Tom DiLeo of Finance of America was installed as secretary/treasurer at the luncheon. 2020-21 board members include Jack Skovgard of Long Beach Home Loan Corp., Mary Loos of Bixby Neighbors magazine, Elizabeth Riley with TGIS Catering and Heather Desh of HD Orthodontics. Immediate Past President Jennifer Sawday with TLD Law remains on the board through February 2021.

The installing officer was Steven Caudillo, executive director of EALB. Marlene Temple, wife of long-time EALB member Don Temple who passed in 2013, presented the 7^th annual award bearing his name.

Founded in 1922, EALB is the oldest, local networking organization that meets Monday noon at The Grand. It is a networking group for business owners and high level executives who seek to capture the natural bond of common interest which exists between business executives and by regular weekly meetings, develop and enjoy a brand of fellowship conducive to the creation of additional and profitable business for all of its members.
