Zephyr Trezise, 7, ran a lemonade stand at the corner of Temple Avenue and Broadway on Sunday, Sept. 20. With tips included, Zephyr made $286 and plans to invest in another stand and buy a toy from Target, her mother Monique Trezise said. Zephyr worked from 1 to 4 p.m. with no breaks and also sold homemade chocolate chip cookies, which like the lemonade, sold for 50 cents each. “She offered service with a smile while the community came and showed their support,” Monique said. Parents Tim and Monique Trezise own the Syndicate Barber Shop at 2749 E. Broadway.
