It’s that time of year when we remind you that it’s okay to thank your Beachcomber carrier with a token of your appreciation for a job well done. Simply send your greetings to: Beachcomber Carrier, PO Box 15679, Long Beach, CA 90815-0679.
In Long Beach there are a few places that you must attend for drinks and food, K.C. Branaghan’s is definitely one of them. The Shepard’s Pie at this pub is wonderful and their macaroni and cheese is thick, smooth and irresistible. The entire menu is superb.
There’s a car rental ad running on television these days that ranks among the worst I’ve ever seen. Entitled “Rent-THE-Car,” the campaign promotes the “the premium experience and superior fleet SIXT offers its customers when compared to typical rent-a-car services.”
Sometimes we take for granted the true greatness that is all around us. The Pacific Ocean itself is a true wonder to behold, living right next to it is a blessing.
