Player of the Week: Tori Bolden, Women’s Soccer – Senior forward Tori Bolden scored a pair of goals in LBSU’s 2-0 win over Hawai’i. It’s the first multi-goal game of Bolden’s career and she matched her career high with four shots to help the Beach win its Big West opener.

Won vs. Hawai’i, 2-0
-- Long Beach State opened Big West play with a convincing 2-0 win, putting nine shots on target against Hawai’i.

Women’s Volleyball (5-12, 2-2 Big West)
Lost vs. Cal Poly, 3-1
Won vs. UC Santa Barbara, 3-0
-- Redshirt freshman Brooke Earkman made the first two starts of her career over the weekend, setting career-highs in kills both nights with 13 and 15, respectively. She also hit a personal-best .382 in the win over UCSB to bring to the Beach back to .500 in conference play.

No. 6 Men's Water Polo (9-6, 0-1 Golden Coast)
Lost vs. No. 5 Pacific, 14-10
-- Freshman Marwan Darwish had five saves against No. 5 Pacific including one penalty shot save in the first home game of the season for the Beach.

Women’s Golf at Coeur d'Alene Resort Collegiate Invitational
- Long Beach State took 12th place among 18 teams at 29-over 881.  Junior Cara Barker tied for 31st at 5-over 218.
