‘Ordinary Days’

The LBP Studio Collaborative Season offers outside, local theatre companies and performing arts organizations the opportunity to produce their own shows in our Studio Theater. “Ordinary Days” kicks off the season Jan. 5 to Jan. 14, Fridays & Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Ticket prices range from $24 to $15.

“Ordinary Days” tells the story of four New Yorkers whose lives intersect as they search for happiness, love, and cabs. Through a score of vibrant songs, their experiences ring startlingly true to life. Adam Gwon’s musical is for anyone who’s ever struggled to appreciate simple things in a complex place.

The show is produced by Take the Stage Long Beach, an educational theatre and production company with more than 10 years of teaching and production experience in the greater Long Beach area. It is owned and operated by Bethany and Jamieson Price, Long Beach-based theatre professionals and CSULB Theatre Arts Department alumni.
