Elon Musk’s Truck

I just saw Elon Musk’s new “pick-up truck.” Have any of the people who designed that thing ever used a truck, driven a truck or even ridden in a truck? Its beds are too small. It’s too low to the ground. About the only thing it is, is it isn’t a truck at all.

Why are so many designs without no real function to follow their form? Function must come first in any design. Why do so many things get designed by people who either never use the product or have no idea what is truly needed to make it function properly? What a waste of time, effort and money.
