Jones Loves Soccer and Engineering

Sydni Ingram

Kyle Jones is a 16-year-old newspaper carrier for the Beachcomber, who currently delivers papers on Woodruff. He heard about this job through his neighbor who lives across from him, who also was a newspaper carrier for the paper.

The hardest part of the job would be folding the newspapers and his favorite part is distributing the paper, “Because I like riding my bike, I like riding it around, it’s kind of relaxing,” he said.

When Kyle is not working as a paper carrier he likes playing soccer. He currently plays soccer at St. Anthony High School and for a club. At the moment he does not have a favorite player, but his favorite team would be the Brazil National Football Team.

As a high school sophomore, his current goals are to get good grades and he would like to pursue a career in engineering because he likes making things. He would also like to play soccer in the future as well.

Neighborhood routes of approximately 700 papers are available for middle-school students delivering our biweekly newspaper Friday afternoons or Saturday mornings.
