Labyrinth of Kindness

Last week marked the annual Kids for Peace Great Kindness Challenge, a global bullying prevention initiative that improves school climate and increases student engagement. Each year, Dignity Health partners with Kids for Peace to spread kindness in our communities. On Wednesday, January 25 Dignity Health – St. Mary Medical Center partnered with Bobbie Smith Elementary School in Long Beach to build a “Labyrinth of Kindness” out of 300 stones painted by the students to illustrate what kindness means to them. Dignity Health’s doctors, nurses and administrative leadership joined the children to journey through the labyrinth together to a spiritual place where kindness can heal.
