Liberal Celebrities

I’ve often wondered why so many celebrities are such left-wing liberals. Here is what I believe the reason is:

They want to be loved. They crave admiration, applause, etc. They are overly politically correct. They don’t want their fans to think they are “mean spirited” by saying something that might offend them even if it is the truth.

They act like they are so altruistic and caring when it comes to illegal aliens, but they don’t have to worry about losing their jobs to illegal aliens like a lot of everyday Americans do.

Guilt. I believe anyone that makes so much money so easily would feel guilty. To put it into perspective, let’s say a movie star makes $10 million a movie. The median wage in the USA is about $52,000 a year. It would take over 192 years to make what the actor makes in about two months of part-time work!

Some put down the police, but because most celebrities are wealthy they can live in better and more protected neighborhoods where there is little or no crime than most Americans can. Hypocrites!

Many probably put on a front of being liberal even if they aren’t so that they won’t be “black balled” by the powers that be.

They want to be part of whatever the majority of their peers are (safety in numbers), which is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Today the thing to be is a liberal. During World War II, conservatism was the thing. A lot of popular movie stars joined the service. Some were noted for their courage and bravery.

My opinion is a lot of them are phony and just putting on an act!
