Lola’s Mexican Cuisine – A Rainbow of Fantastic Flavors and Fun

Jonathan Pekar, Food Dude

I cannot emphasize the importance of great mole sauce enough. It is a fine line to combine such eccentric flavors together, done poorly and a restaurant loses more than credibility, it loses customers.

Lola’s doesn’t ever have to worry about that because they may have the best mole sauce in Long Beach. Three different styles of mole at that! The other items on the menu are equally impressive, however, if you are a mole connoisseur, such as myself, then make hast and go visit Lola’s on 2030 E. 4th Street.

The rich flavors will stimulate your taste buds and excite your palate. Lola’s really knows how to compliment a perfectly prepared chicken with sauces that will make you smile.

Lola’s is the kind of place that makes you proud to live in Long Beach. The music and the atmosphere is entertaining and full of charming personality. The outside patio is great for watching all the interesting Long Beach people pass by like you are in a Fellini film.

4th Street is getting to be a true landmark of creativity and expression that the rest of the world is starting to take notice. 4th Street seems smart enough not to let the rest of the world ruin this special spot though.

I do sincerely fear that a Hollywood studio executive will get lost on the freeway and end up in Long Beach drifting amuck on 4th Street worried that his or her Range Rover isn’t safe in such an artsy neighborhood and five months later FOX will debut its newest television hit LONG BEACH 90814! Oh something like this will happen, life can be like that, so notice and enjoy the good times now.

Lola’s also has a full bar with an assortment of mixed drink options with wonderfully silly names and truly fantastic salsa and chips to start everything off right.

The entire staff is courteous and very professional. They work as a great team at Lola’s and are delightfully passionate about seeing that your visit to their establishment will not be forgotten as you sincerely look forward to coming back again and again. There is street parking all around and there are amazing shops up and down 4th Street that will peak your curiosity.

Yes, Lola’s Mexican Cuisine on 4th Street is totally awesome. Do yourself a favor and go check it out. Viva Lola’s! Viva 4th Street!

Go eat for yourself.
