Player of the Week: Natalia Munoz, Women’s Tennis – Sophomore Natalia Munoz continued her strong tournament play, winning the doubles championship at the Beach Tennis Fall Tournament with Lena Pacholski as well as reaching the singles semifinals in the top flight.

  • Long Beach State’s streak of three consecutive shutouts was snapped against the Titans on Sunday.

The Beach dropped a pair of road matches, including the program’s first loss to UC Davis. Emma Kirst had a solid week after her move to the middle, hitting .500 in each match with a total of 15 kills and eight blocks.

Lost vs. No. 1 USC, 11-9 OT

  • Keegan Wicken scored five goals as LBSU lost to No. 1 USC 11-9 in overtime.

  • Lena Pacholski and Natalia Munoz captured the Flight A doubles championship in the Fall Tournament hosted at the Rhodes Tennis Center by Long Beach State.
