SECOND DISTRICT City Council candidate Robert Fox, right, poses for photos with friends Ron Esparza, Rafael Lerma and Ralph Brunson during an Oktoberfest celebration and campaign event at the home of Fox supporter Udo Schildbach Oct. 1. Fox, who is of German descent, wore lederhosen and prepared gourmet German cuisine. About 150 to 200 attended the party which featured live German music. Fox, who said his German name “Fuchs” (meaning Fox) didn’t carry over well into English and thus his family changed it to Fox. During a speech, Fox discussed serious topics involving the Second District and his plans to address them. Fox challenges incumbent Jeannine Pearce and resident Jeanette Barrera in next March’s election.
