Peace in Motion: Steps for Peace

HUNDREDS OF YOUTH, families and community leaders take part in the “Peace in Motion: Steps for Peace” community walk at Bixby Park on Sept. 19. Organized by Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light Los Angeles (HWPL LA) in collaboration with Long Beach District 8, the event brought together participants from across the community to promote peace through action.

Participants carried colorful signs and symbols promoting peace as they walked through the park. The event also included a Peace Village and community resource fair and marked a new partnership between HWPL LA and LA Wolves FC to provide free youth soccer clinics incorporating sports, wellness and peace education.
