Public Servants

Gene Rotondo

It’s amazing that when people/press talk about collusion, conflict of interest or conspiracies they never discuss the biggest offenders – all politicians. How is it that these people who are given millions of dollars so they can get a job that’s suppose to oversee the public’s best interest, can’t do what they’re put in office to do. The main reason is they are 100 percent focused on staying employed or moving up the food chain. There is no motivation to do anything that makes the other party look good. That’s the real issue and it’s so obvious. They are playing the public.

Let’s start paying these “public servants” minimum wage and a compensation plan based on what they accomplish with and a great retirement plan based on the same. Put them in a position of forcing them to perform if they want to get paid and enjoy any financial enrichment or stopping the opposition.

If a party shuts down the government, that party stops getting paid. Every time a new law is put in place, they must remove three existing laws; so many are worthless and outdated anyway.

The government spends more of our money in the most inefficient manner with little effort on cutting costs. No taxes should be instituted without finding an equal amount of cost cutting. With improving technology at its all time high, how is that the private sectors has managed to capitalize on such usage and have record profits and governments (especially city and states) can only find one solution – more taxes.
Wake up America; speak out and make your “public servant” accountable.
