RV Ban

Diana Lejins

Our streets were not designed to be storage facilities for over-sized vehicles, boats, trailers, etc. They are extremely dangerous in that they impede and block the view of other vehicle drivers, emergency responders, pedestrians, bicycles, etc.

While for emergency plans, a five- day supply of food, water and other supplies is appropriate to put aside, it does not take a whole RV to accommodate it. To use that as an excuse to impose an ugly eyesore on neighbors is ludicrous. Who would want to live on an otherwise beautiful street lined with these monstrosities.

These behemoths belong in a storage yard. It is time to outlaw them before some child is maimed or killed trying to navigate around them.
