RV Ban

Cheryl Mehlbaum
Just read your article on the RV parking ordinance to hopefully be passed in Long Beach streets. If the owners of these RVs own their homes they can provide room on their properties to park them on their driveways, side yards, etc.

It is such a hazard and so dangerous to try to navigate some of our narrower streets with these taking up almost three parking areas on our public streets. At night it is especially precarious to see oncoming bicyclists, students on skate boards, etc to manage safely around them without danger. Our taxes were increased by a huge margin this year; spend some of that extra on space available at the airport properties being developed; less of the same shops, fast food spots and more on usage for residents like these matters.
