Player of the Week: Ashley Gonzales, Women’s Soccer – The 68th minute game-winner from senior Ashley Gonzales against UC Irvine was the 34th goal of her career, setting a new Long Beach State career goals record.

The Beach had six different scorers in the game, including freshman Garrett Zaan who has now scored a goal in seven consecutive games.

Alyssa Allen was the top finisher for Long Beach State as the women competed in the final meet prior to the Big West Championships this weekend.
