Player of the Week: Tyler Spriggs, Women’s Volleyball – Tyler Spriggs reached double-figure digs in each match and posted a double-double with 18 kills and a career-high 16 digs in the Beach’s five-set win over Princeton.

Won vs. St. John’s, 6-0
Dana Fujikuni scored twice and Rocio Rodriguez had a goal and two assists as Long Beach State dominated St. John’s at home.  
 
Women’s Volleyball (6-4)
at Towson Invite
Won vs. Texas Tech, 3-2 [25-17, 20-25, 25-16, 18-25, 15-13]
Won vs. Princeton, 3-2 [15-25, 25-19, 26-24, 14-25, 15-8]
Won at Towson, 3-0 [25-20, 26-24, 25-23]
Long Beach State went 3-0 last week as the Beach were led by Tyler Spriggs’ three double-figure dig efforts and Emma Kirst’s career-high 10 block performance. 
 
No. 6 Men’s Water Polo (6-1)
at Inland Empire Classic
Won vs. Whittier College, 15-3
Won at La Verne, 23-9
Won vs. Chapman, 18-8
The Beach went 3-0 on Saturday at the Inland Empire Classic, outscoring its three opponents by a combined margin of 56-20. Aaron Arias and Austin Stewart each had six-goal games during the triple-header.
