Player of the Week: Austin Stewart, Men’s Water Polo – Senior Austin Stewart was named to the Golden Coast Conference All-Tournament team after leading LBSU Men’s Water Polo on a run to the title game. Stewart scored 10 goals in the tournament, including four in both the semifinals and finals as the Beach fell just short of a second straight championship. He became just the third player in school history to score more than 200 career goals.

--Setter Carly Aigner-Swesey led the team with a double-double (28 assists, 10 digs), while senior Hailey Harward concluded her collegiate career with a 10-dig effort to finish just three digs shy of a tie for third place on the LBSU career-digs list with 1,575.

Lost at No. 5 Pepperdine, 14-12
-- Long Beach State took down top seed Pacific on the way to the championship game of the Golden Coast Conference Tournament, but came up just short in the championship against hosts Pepperdine.
Men’s Basketball (2-4)
Won vs. Fresno Pacific, 93-62
Lost at No. 14 Arizona, 104-67
-- Long Beach State is a perfect 2-0 in the Walter Pyramid this season as Chance Hunter led the way to a win over Fresno Pacific with 21 points.
Women’s Basketball (1-4)
Lost vs. Utah State, 56-48
Lost vs. Loyola Marymount, 70-57
--The Beach received a strong showing from Cydnee Kinslow against Utah State as the forward led the team with 13 points, 12 rebounds, three steals, and three assists. Against LMU, Ma’Qhi Berry set a new career-high with 22 points, while Justina King led the squad with a season-high 23 points.
