Player of the Week: Michael Carter III, Men’s Basketball – Picked up his first career double-double with 14 points and a career-high 15 rebounds while making a team-high four assists in a 76-60 win over Cal State Los Angeles.

Men’s Basketball (5-11), Won vs. Cal State Los Angeles, 76-60
In addition to Michael Carter III, Chance Hunter also finished with a double-double after scoring 13 points with 11 rebounds and Colin Slater led the way with 18 points in the win. 

Women’s Basketball (5-8), Won vs. Bethesda, 90-43 (Exhib.)
Cydnee Kinslow recorded 22 points and Kristyna Jeskeova grabbed 10 rebounds in the Beach’s exhibition win over Bethesda to close out the non-conference portion of LBSU’s schedule.

No. 4 Men’s Volleyball, at CanAm Holiday Showcase
Lost vs. Alberta, 3-0 [23-25, 21-25, 25-27] (Exhib.)
Won vs. McMaster, 3-2 [19-25, 25-20, 25-18, 12-25, 15-13] (Exhib.)
The Beach went 1-2 at the CanAm Holiday Showcase in Toronto, Canada. On the final day of the exhibition tournament, LBSU defeated McMaster in five sets as junior setter Carlos Rivera was named Player of the Game.
