Nodaway Valley will send a good contingent to the state track meet this week.

Destiny Scar continued to go out in style. The NV senior won the 800m, 1500m and 3000m runs to qualify. Scar also anchored the state-qualifying distance medley team.  Scar had the eighth best qualifying time in the 800m at 2:30.99 and the eighth fastest time in the 3000m run at 11:30.63. She had the 11th fastest time last Thursday in the 1500m at 5:21.24.  The distance medley team of Sadie Marnin, Rachel Scheel, Kenna Lundy and Scar had the 15th fastest time at 4:32.34.  Marnin qualified as an individual in the 100m dash. Marnin ran the 16h fastest qualifying time of 13.33.  Lundy qualified in the 200m. She had the 18th fastest qualifying time of 27.55.  Jared Corder qualified with second fastest times in both the 800m run and the 1600m run. His 800m time was 2:03.49, while his 1600m time was 4:43.01. Corder is less than two seconds behind the leading qualifier in both events.  Shane Breheny and Brycen Wallace qualified in the 3200m run.
