Algalita Marine Research and Education is hosting their 6th annual Plastic Ocean Pollution Solutions (POPS) International Youth Summit at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point on February 10 – 12, 2017. The Summit is a comprehensive 3-day educational program that inspires, engages, and supports youth leaders to launch and lead action-oriented solutions to reduce plastic waste globally. Attending this year are 27 teams, made up of 100 students from around the globe, from local youth to students from Hawaii, Montana, the Bahamas, and Lebanon.
