On behalf of the Long Beach Reform Coalition (LBRC), California election law litigation firm Strumwasser & Woocher Monday filed suit in Los Angeles County Superior Court against the county’s chief election officer, Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean Logan.
Former 4th District Councilmember and Long Beach Mayor Tom Clark passed away Wednesday at the age of 93. He was the longest serving member of the council from 1965 to 1996 and was elected mayor by his council colleagues three times before the position became fulltime.
