Belmont Shore’s 2nd Street hosted over 90 artists to participate in Saturday’s Belmont Shore Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest. Artists 16 and up gathered as early as 9 a.m. to prepare their submissions for the contest at 4:10 p.m.
Thanks to Assembly Bill 1482 signed by California Governor Gavin Newsom, for almost any rent increased after January 1 on a property owned by a business or corporation, there is a cap of five percent plus the local rate of inflation.
