I just have to thank you for your honest and factual reporting in the Beachcomber. I am disgusted and ashamed with what is going on in Long Beach. From the Police Department, the city attorney and being a Sanctuary City. I never voted for that.
Again the LBPD corrupt organization is covering up officer misconduct with the help of the city manager, city attorney office and jumping in the mix to help cover this up is our very own elected officials, the LB City Council, which has remained silent on this murder. Shame on all of you.
Recently I needed to acquire bids from electricians for my church. I signed my emails with council president and in less than a week I received trash mail with that station added to my name and address.
I heard on the radio yesterday that Long Beach has the worst roads in LA county. I guess we need to raise the sale tax to produce enough money to fix the streets. Oh wait ... we did that recently. Our smiling mayor and City Council touted the sales tax as a way to fix the roads.
